Dr. Daoshing Ni, D.O.M., L.Ac., Ph.D, Dipl.C.H.
Dr. Dao is a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of
California and is a Diplomate of Chinese Herbology
NCCA. Dr. Dao has been active in the TCM profession as
well as professional organizations. He was an examiner for
the California Acupuncture Committee and also participated
in the Chinese Herbology Exam development for NCCA.
Well known and respected for his special interest in reproductive and
gynecological conditions. Dr. Dao is a member
of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine,
Pacific Coast Fertility Society, and American
Association of Oriental Medicine.

Dr. Mao Shing Ni, L.Ac., D.O.M., Ph.D., Dipl. C.H., Dipl. ABAAP
Dr. Mao is a Licensed Acupuncturist, a Diplomate of
Chinese Herbology and a Diplomate in Anti-Aging. He is currently in
general practice with special interest in immune, hormonal and aging
related conditions. He was awarded the Outstanding Acupuncturist of the
Year Award in 1987.
Dr. Mao along with his brother (Dr. Dao) and their father founded Yo San
University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Santa Monica. He is
currently director and a professor of Chinese medicine at Yo San
University. Dr. Mao is a member of the American Academy of Anti-Aging
Medicine, the AOM ALLIANCE, American Society of Acupuncturist, the
American Association of Acupuncturist & Oriental Medicine and National
certification Commission for Acupuncturist & Oriental Medicine Diplomate in Chinese Herbology.

Jessica Chen, L.Ac., DAOM
Dr. Jessica Chen is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Doctor of
Oriental Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Chen earned both her Masters and
Doctoral degrees at Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine
(TCM), and her Bachelors in Psychology from Boston University. Dr. Chen
has also spent time studying TCM at several hospitals in Taipei, Taiwan,
her hometown. Dr. Chen has been at Tao of Wellness since 2005, practicing under the
mentorship of Drs. Daoshing and Mao Shing Ni.
In 2010, Dr. Chen co-authored the book Sitting Moon with
Dr. Daoshing Ni to bring awareness and valuable information about how a
new mother must be cared for in the month after giving birth. Dr. Chen
is certified in Chinese nutrition and provides nutritional counseling to her patients in pursuit of healthier
living. She is also a member of the American Society for Reproductive
Medicine. She is now practicing as a senior associate at Tao of Wellness in Santa Monica.

Edsel Tan, L.Ac., Dipl.O.M.
Edsel Tan holds a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese
Medicine from Yo San University as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree
from University of California, Santa Barbara. His interest in pain
medicine and physical rehabilitation led him to pursue advanced training
in various bodywork modalities and to complete a special internship in
Integrative Pain Management at the Venice Family Clinic. He has also
learned about integrating healing modalities through his work with
clinicians of multiple disciplines
such as biomedicine, chiropractic, and physical therapy.
At Tao of Wellness, Edsel Tan works closely with Drs. Dao and Mao as
well as with other associates to continue developing an integrative
healthcare model for women’s health, pain management and other health conditions.

Jason Moskovitz, L.Ac., Dipl.O.M.
Jason Moskovitz is a Board Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of
California and a Nationally Certified Diplomate in Oriental Medicine.
He is also a Certified Chinese Nutritionist and a certified InfiniChi
Practitioner, (the Ni family form of medical energy healing) and a
certified instructor in several forms of Ni family tai chi and qi gong.
He has taught movement and meditation in public classes and as part of
the Master’s program at Yo San University.
After graduating from UCLA in 1999 and working in the film
and design industries, Jason began studying medicine, earning his Master
of Arts in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Yo San, graduating with
highest honors in 2008. In 2009, Jason was awarded a Fellowship to
practice among the healing team at Tao
of Wellness. Since then, Jason has initiated the InfiniChi Energy
Treatment Program, directed detoxification retreats and co-created the
Facial Rejuvenation Protocol. In 2011 he was selected to join Dr.
Daoshing and Dr. Mao Shing Ni in opening the second
Tao of Wellness clinic in Newport Beach, serving there as the
resident practitioner. Jason’s areas of focus have been women’s health,
infertility, elder care, and joint pain, having administered 5,000
treatments in his first two years with Tao of Wellness.
At his practice Jason offers his patients friendship. He teaches them
acceptance of their ever-changing condition, allowing
the body to heal itself and the outlook to widen.

Thomas Boldt, L.Ac., MATCM
Thomas Boldt grew up in Philadelphia and graduated
from Dartmouth College in wintery New Hampshire. He
came to Los Angeles for the sun and a career in Marketing.
It was here that he injured his back, and after 2 years of suffering,
discovered acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. With two months of
acupuncture, massage, herbs and chi gong, he recovered and was able to
avoid surgery. Amazed by the speed of his healing, Tom became enthralled
with Chinese medicine, and wanted to pass on his experience of healing
to others. He first attended massage school, and then after thorough research,
attended Yo San University where he graduated with honors and a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and
Traditional Chinese Medicine.
After school, Tom worked as the acupuncturist on cruise ships plying the
seas of Europe and the Caribbean, where he was able to use his abilities
to help passengers with their health challenges. In 2009, Tom left his
nautical life and joined the team at Tao of Wellness. He has further
developed his treatment abilities by comprehensively studying massage
and medical chi gong for sports injuries and pain conditions. He has
special interests in women’s and men’s health as well as pediatrics. In
addition to acupuncture and Chinese herbs, Tom provides his patients
with massage, chi gong, meditation and InfiniChi treatments.

Kumiko Yamamoto, L.Ac.
Kumiko grew up in Japan and is a 3rd generation acupuncturist in her
family. She attended and graduated with the highest
honors from Yo San University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM),
where she received her Master’s degree. With an interest in women’s
health and pediatric care, Kumiko completed an
intensive residency in TCM Gynecology and Reproductive
Medicine at Sichuan Hospital in China as well as an internship at
Children’s Hospital L.A. Her extensive training also includes
Integrative Oncology at Premiere Oncology in Santa Monica, California
and Sichuan Hospital in China.
Kumiko is a certified instructor in tai chi and chi gong.
Besides offering services in acupuncture, tuina, herbal and
nutrition therapies, she also teaches prescriptive mind-body
exercises (chi gong) as well as InfiniChi energy healing. Kumiko has
lectured at various venues including UCLA AIDS Awareness, Global Sound
Conference, and Abbot Kinney Festival She is
a recurring instructor at the Tao of Wellness detox retreats,
and has authored several workbooks for students of
acupuncture and Chinese medicine.

Stephanie Yong, L.Ac.
Stephanie Yong, L.Ac., received her Master’s degree in
Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University,
graduating with honors. In addition to a year-long internship with the
Yo San University Clinic, she also completed an externship with the
Venice Family Clinic serving low-income communities in Venice, CA.
Stephanie participated in an extensive Acupuncture Orthopedics training
at Cedars Sinai Hospital. Additionally, Stephanie has 11 years of
clinical experience as a massage therapist specializing in sports
injuries, and acute and chronic pain. Stephanie’s acupuncture practice
also encompasses migraines and headaches, anxiety, insomnia, women’s
issues and reproductive health. Stephanie provides comprehensive and
effective care utilizing a holistic approach with acupuncture, tuina
massage, and herbal medicine to treat her patients’ current conditions
and underlying causes. Stephanie excels at partnering with her patients
to help them achieve their goals, improve their quality of life, and
support their journey as they explore their greatest potential in health.
